NAPs Butter is an all-natural whipped Shea Butter product for hair and skin. Nana A. Peprah created the company in 2015. After constantly getting questions about what she used to achieve her defined twist outs and textured afro, she decided to market her staple product beginning with family and friends.

Backstory: “I started NAPs Butter after countless people continued to ask what I use to moisturize my skin to get it so smooth, and similarly what I use in my hair for it to be so soft. Shared with my sister, she also received similar questions week after week. As a result, I decided to introduce others to this unique product that works well for both skin and hair. I purchased a few glass mason jars to neatly package the whipped Shea Butter mixture and began marketing the product to friends and extended family. The feedback was exceptional so I decided to expand by ordering more batches of the raw Shea Butter from Northern Ghana. At the 29th Annual Ghana Fest in Chicago in 2017, I set up a booth at the festival and the reception from my customers was enormous! I then began promoting on multiple social media platforms in hopes of spreading NAPs butter across the globe!”

         Currently NAPs Butter Whipped Shea Butter is available in three different jar sizes and also carries a sugar scrub. NAPs Butter can be used for both hair and skin, for men, women and children, and only contains 100% natural ingredients. The main ingredient (85% of NAPs Butter product) is shea butter, which is sourced directly from Ghana, West Africa, more specifically a small town in the Northern Region named Tuna where the shea nut naturally grows. In addition to the Shea Butter, the other ingredients include: Organic Jojoba oil, Organic Coconut oil and Hempseed oil.
